The pain drugs got be straight :-)
And plentiful for about 2 weeks according to mother-in-law here. I told
here about your situation, she said you'll feel 20 years younger once
you get therapy out of the way. Only real problem she had was learning
she could walk up and down stairs without having to turn sideways and
driving her car without the 'motorcycle' controls now.
Oh- she also said that said that the therapists will push you beyond
what seems 'reasonable', as soon as you feel comfortable they want you
to raise the leg 6 inches higher. She wanted to ring their necks at the
time but now praises them for putting up with her "threats"..(BG)
When you're a bit more comfortable, I have a couple of ???'s about
running WINS services on my NT box- I get an [?specific?] error - #110
and a #101 (I think), event logs mention something about not being able
to open user database or something.
When I get a chance in the next day or 3 I'll duplicate it and
package the logs and such for you.
Greetings Hector,
I am elated to read messages from you. I have been waiting for you to
feel like answering a few questions. I have been trying to update my
system with the new AUP and it will not work for me. This is the first
time that I am not able to get winserver to start after following your instructions. I have tried to up date 5 or 6 time and I get the same results. It is a good thing that you gave us the back up methods.
Here is what I do and what I get:
1) CD\ and xcopy \wc5 \wc55 /e /s
2} Run the AUP
3) then I run the converter (convertwc55)
4) Restart the NTWorkstation and wcstart.
5)I then get an error message that the server can not start...run convertwc55...I will run it again ad it tell me that the converter has
all ready run. This happen every time I do the the above steps.

The only thing we found out so far is that ConvertWc55 assumes
"DATA\" so if you hardcoded it as \wc5\data, then the wrong folder
will get converted.
So check WCCONFIG paths
