longitude one hundred and forty decimal nine east (140.9E)
Recent movement : southeast at 10 knots
Maximum winds : 35 knots
Central pressure: 994 hPa

Maximum winds to 35 knots near the centre decreasing to 30 knots by 0000 UTC 04 January.

Winds above 34 knots within 50 nautical miles in NE quadrant
and within 40 nautical miles in SE quadrant

and within 40 nautical miles in NW quadrant with very rough seas and moderate swell.
