Question
I Have windows 7 on a standalone boot disk that runs my tradewars server
I would like to move this entire setup on to my new server so I have to options
1: put the disk into the new computer and RAW to it with VB
2: perform/build a windows 7 system restore image and install it in to
VB
Which is better ?
I myself prefer running my stuff in VM's, I have my Door Server, in it's own
VM my Linux and Win10 BBS' in their own VM's also all on the same computer running Ubuntu. If something goes wrong with them they are backed up nightly with my NAS, so restoring an image to the night before it a 5 minute task.
Plus and I have done this numerous times, moving them to other computers is
as simple as copying the VM Directory to the other computer, this way of
doing it there is no configuring Windows to a new computer anytime you might want to move it. Welp there's my opinion...
