Great to have you here!
Thanks! :)
Tried to set up Mystic on a Zero with a 20 GB SATA drive I used to have in my 360 before I put a 500 GB on it. Not a Linux guru...so ended up having more issues with connecting & such that eventually I went back to Windows.
Now...am trying to get OS/2 set up with TG/2 or Lora...if I can get all the bugs worked out.

Good luck!! I wouldn't say I'm a Linux guru either, just happened to have a spare RPI lying around! Its going OK so far, although I have some issues getting some echomail as I never got this one into the BBS, have applied for

You will need a node number assigned to your BBS (i.e. not 999), so after
Avon has assigned one, and you have negotiated the connection details etc., things should hopefully be working as intended. :)

else is also starting up and collecting mail as 21:1/999.
That won't happen when you get your own node number.

People have been commenting on that (though it hasn't seemed like traffic in the bot channel has decreased, so I think it might just be slow), but in ayster's case, it's more likely because the BBS is on 21:1/999, and some
other just-getting-connected-to-the-network BBS claimed the missing messages.

There is something weird going on. I've noticed a serious drop in messages, and now makes me wonder if the network has been segmented somehow...
So I'm not sure that it has - a good way to gauge is to look at my Hub 3 Queue bot post in the FSX_BOT. If you see Hub 3 with queued mail to another hub 21:x/100 - that's a good indicator that another Hub is down.
That said, I've seen it a few times where a Mystic hub receives mail fine, but just doesnt process it ...

Ponder, I have a similar issue at times. Its not safe to actually process mail unless all nodes are offline. I had to do some semphore jiggery pokery in the FD bat to ensure it'd only run if things were quiet. Now for some reason, it will quite often sit on received mail until daily maintenance even if the all nodes quiet condition is met. Tre's strange. If mystic is running multiple nodes perhaps its got a similar outlook on its message base...

Its unusual when I reach the top of the stats list.... so it is certainly quiet. I'm normally running 3 or 4.... so off the top of my head Avon's down, not surprising. Vk3 has fallen off, not sure off hand who the 3/4th number is....
It does seem to take a long time to get stuff from A to B though. I'll have to pop out another test message and see what happens.

Ejz All,
Warm greetings from TheForze board. Thanks to Deon and Paul now connected to fsxNet.
Running Mystic on an Synology ds1621xs+ with an custom docker image.
Heavily customized Mystic to resemble the old board which ran between '92 and '97.
Got the bbs fever thanks to The Godfather and the coding fever from Xqtr. Working on two great projects now, an filebase viewer/switcher and msgbase viewer/switcher. See them in action on the board!
Catch you in-mail ;)

Welcome to the madhouse.
Ty!
What exactly is docker?
Docker is an VM enviroment in which you can run Docker images.
The beauty is that SSL and reverse proxy is handled by the server running Docker-- So you dont have to worry about those in the various images.
For example I'm running these all in SSL:
- SabNZB
- Transmission
- Bitwarden
- Mystic
- Calibre-web
All in their own Docker image.

However it appears that your echomail address is not correct (the Origin: line shows 0:0/0 whereas it should show 21:1/999 I think).
Have you added 21:1/999 as your echomail address in Networking --> Echomail Addresses, and is the message base in Editors --> Message Base Editor set to Type: Networked and have the Net Address 21:1/999 selected?
