  • Point nodes in Mystic's nodelist.txt

    Hi guys n gals,

    Does anyone know what the correct format is for a point node in the Mystic nodelist.txt file? Can it handle point nodes?

    Sure I did on a pi and on a full blown linux setting. Pretty much one is the master and one is the slave that you point up stream to your master bbs.

    Message echo's work great and and I wrote Avan netmail from the slave with no trouble. 21:4/119 to 21:4/119.1

    nodelist.txt is created from the nodelist so if it has a point in it im sure mutil uses it.

    Points don't go in nodelists, that's the point ;) The point is handled by the up stream links. My AlphaTest is handled by Mystic Pi BBS. Mystic Pi knows about it and handles that as part of the exports to the point and from the point (.2 in AlphaTest's case). The nodelist isn't involved except to route
    to the node that handles the point. That node does the work both ways.
