On 02 May 2019, Ratz said the following...

    Pack Cmd | zip -qj9 %1 %2
    Unpack Cmd | unzip -oqqjC "%1" "%2" -d %3

I checked and this is my setup for zip as well, were you thinking a
change on the pack cmd line maybe? I don't think I've ever changed this and qwk was working for me before tho.

I just moved this into the Mystic echo...

I just ran a test on my test system here, which is also running v1.12 A43 Linux/64 Compiled 2019/03/02 23:19:16.

I posted a message into a QWK echo, and manually ran qwkpoll 1 export. The following is what it shows in the qwkpoll.log file:

    May 02 20:56:58 QWKPOLL Startup (v1.12 A43 Linux/64 Compiled 2019/03/02 23:19:16)
    May 02 20:56:58 Exporting /fsxnet.rep
    May 02 20:56:58 Exported 1 messages

But, this is what it showed on the screen:

    dan@dan:~/mystic$ ./qwkpoll 1 EXPORT

    QWKPOLL Startup (v1.12 A43 Linux/64 Compiled 2019/03/02 23:19:16)

    Exporting /fsxnet.rep
    zip I/O error: Permission denied
zip error: Could not create output file (/fsxnet.rep)
    Exported 1 messages
    dan@dan:~/mystic$

I checked the permissions for the entire /mystic directory, and everything is owned my my user....

I'll keep working on trying to figure it out, but it's looking like it might
be an issue somewhere is Mystic...

Looks like it is trying to create /fsxnet.rep, not /mystic/some_other_dire/fsxnet.rep

It's understandable your bbs user is blocked from writing to your root partition directly :)

I find it odd that it's trying to write files there, though. Maybe a recent update accidentally made that change.

I think your on to something there.. shouldn't that upload be named VERT.rep?

I still don't know what the problem is, might need g00r00's help with that one.

The test system was connecting to the FTN<>QWK Hub for fsxNet. If the
messages I was sending did get sent out, I could still intercept them before sending them out to the world. :)

I'm thinking that might be the case, as they were working previously... I may still run a few more tests to see what I can mess up... I mean, figure out. ;)

It's OK to mess up as long as you can figure it out.. :)

I saw a Mystic BBS post in dove-net a short time ago. I didn't look closely enough at the build being used or if perhaps it was an FTN post.

I'll have another look and see if I can find that (or another) post and see if I can get a look at the details.

I see a post in the dove-net general sub by StackFault in the last day or three, also running A43 Linux/64.

    Hmm..

    Ok, this is really strange...

I haven't changed any settings in this Mystic test site. I haven't even gone into mystic -cfg since yesterday.

I just posted a test message in FSX_GEN, and it sent out with qwkpoll...

If everything runs the way is should be, this reply should make it out to the hub as well...

I just saw your "quick test" over on retronet and replied to it. Let me know
    if you see it.

What you you mean by FXN <-> QWK is it setup differently?

I got it. I'll have to reply on the test system. For some reason, This copy
of Mystic won't let me read that echo... :(

What I've been playing around with, is gating a couple FTN networks to QWK for those who would prefer that type of transferring of echomail.

Right now, fsxNet is available via QWK, and I'm just testing out Retronet as well.
