I have not played this / installed it... wondering are you using a fossil driver with this game? When it disconnects on you are you connected via telnet login or playing the game via local login etc.?
I am not using a fossil driver for this game. I have Mystic set up with command D3, running the batch file for the game. Mystic is passing only the %P (nodes temp directory) to the batch file, and the batch file is running the 'sim-bbs.exe %1\door32.sys' command.
This is via telnet connection to the board. I've never run into this
issue before...
Do the docs refer to use of a fossil driver?

Nope. the docs don't even mention a fossil driver... :/

Are you 32 or 64 bit?

I've been running both the SIM-BBS 32-bit v2.41 and the SIM-BBS DOS
v2.41 on my
{path}\doors\sim-bbs.bat %3 But, like BlackPanther will drop connection after user exits the game. WINxp.
The other SIM-BBS 16-bit Dos version looks exactly the SAME. lol using D3 Commandline c:\netfoss\nf.bat /N%3 .H%0 c:\doors\simbbs.bat %3 the batch is SIM-BBS c:\mystic\temp%1\CHAIN.TXT
On 03/30/17, Skuz said the following...BBS Simulator v2.41 - DOS/Win32 Versions =============================================
I didn't know there was a v2.41. I'm working with v2.4 here.

I'll have to see if I can get the 16 bit DOS version running on the
Ubuntu system here. That may be my only choice. I'm assuming it
doesn't have the same problem with dropping the connection as the 32
bit version?

For the heck of it, I tried running the dos version under Ubuntu and DOSEmu, and I get "Runtime error 200 at 08EC:0091". This is trying to
run both the config program and the actual door game.
Perhaps I'll have to scrap this one... :(
yes this is because at the time it was using g00r00s win32 door32.sys doorkit and when he made an upgrade it stopped doing it so find a newer version. what version you running? 2.42?

thats because it needs a patch. pascal has an issue in their crt that
made that happen with higher cpus

Right now, I've got version 2.4. What is the newest one available?

Sounds like the Turbo/Borland Pascal problem.
