Can someone suggest an easy way to generate a list of recent files received in the file areas for a Mystic BBS?

I believe Black Panther just released an update for thing like that in
the last week or so although I haven't had a chance to set it up yet.
It's likely in your file areas.
I need to figure something like that out for Synchronet too.

If you would use htick rather than tickit... it is possible... ;)

I like tickit because of it's simplicity. It does need AKA matching
when sending out tics for othernets, and new file announcing would be nice. Maybe an anouncement handler can be plugged into the config like
the nodelist handler. Remote filefix requests would be good too.. ;)
I like htick to but it isn't simple, as you know.. :)
In all honesty, I've never tried setting up tickit but htick really isn't as hard as everyone thinks it is.
Running Sportnet I needed a program that has filefix. htick does require knowledge to create batch files that will support the things it does but that becomes like 2nd nature once you develop a clear path to your goals.
I should create an interface for htick in a windoze enviorement one day. Right now I'm working on understanding javascript and it's uses. I'm trying.. :)

Thanks for the plug. ;)
mtafile should work with Synchronet as well. The only thing that you may have to do to run it, is create a subdirectory from where you run it, called /logs, so it can create the log file. It only reads the .tic files for the information, so it's not really BBS specific.
I guess I could make the log file directory a command line parameter, so that it could be placed anywhere...

So if I just copy the incoming tics to a directory with mtafile and run
it it's create a text file I can import?
Are you looking for something to announce file received via ftn networks?
If so, take a look at mtafile. Just modify your incoming script file, to make a copy of the .tic files before they get tossed. Then you can run mtafile, it will read all the .tic files, and generate a report. A new version was just hatched out last week, which now sorts the report by
file echo name.

Is there any chance you could compile and release a 32-bit Linux
version? The linux version posted is 64-bit only and therefore doesn't
run on my BBS machine.
I'll work on that tomorrow. I've got to try to get Lazarus set up for cross-compiling, as I don't have a 32-bit system running at the moment.

Sorry for the delay, but I just released a Linux 32bit version of
MTAFile. I was having some issues getting the cross-compile to work right...

Thanks! I'll try to get to testing it this weekend. Muchly appreciated.
