in trivia tonight i learned that karl marx was
buried in London in 1883. interesting no?

    ### - at highgate cemetary...

he came to london around 1850 and stayed here for the rest of his life...

london was 'the' place to be back then, everyone who was anyone came to
london at some point, it's like a giant university of life :)

i.e., learn to drive in london, so they still say, and you'll be able to
    drive anywhere else...

    summat like that anyway :)

after the russian revolution the leaders of the rest of the world became terrified that something similar would happen to them in their own
countries, this is the real reason why communism & socialism has been systematically demonised ever since... and because marx predicted the
ultimate fall of capitalism, not through a bloody revolution (which is
what happened in russia) but because when you do the math capitalism is,
by nature, gonna be it's own undoing because it's unsustainable, with
crash after crash after looming crash building up until the whole thing
dies only to be replaced by some form of communism, which he predicted
would then also equally fail at some point leaving us with fuck all...

his math is/was so good and clear that they haven't been able to undo it
    ever since...
