The other night I listened to Jewel's CD 0304 for the
first time in a while and was greatly impressed. It was like two CDs
in one, with the first 60% consisting of several great pop songs
and the second 40% some more rocking songs. Anyway, I highly
recommend it. I heard her live when she was 20 in 1995 at The
Gasworks Music Hall in Gastown in Vancouver, but I never
made it to Lilith Fair.

When I heard her live in 1995 she was solo and finger-picked
an acoustic guitar, and she played first and the band Deep Julia,
with lead singer Shannon Moore, closed the night (though
Jewel was the headliner).
