Meghan McCain is quickly becoming one of my favorite people on the boob
tube. She almost makes “The View” worth watching. Almost. Yesterday she
told Stormy Pornstar Daniels her media charades are just a giant
publicity stunt, right to her face. Today she told James Comey he’s
nothing but a political hack. Also, just me, or when Comey speaks, do
the glass elements in your home crack? Maybe just your will to live.

“I want to believe you’re not a political person, you’re the
head of the FBI. But you write in your book about you went
to President Obama and you were on the verge of tears, saying
you were going to miss him. You also said you were dreading
the next four years with Trump.”

“I don’t want to know your politics. And a lot of the things
you’re saying and doing are highly political. And I just don’t
understand what you gain trying to sort of clear the deck
here.”

Then Comey tried saving face, saying Democrats and Republicans unite
around values? Can’t have it both ways here. If Comey wants to be a
political hack, he can do so. But don’t try and pretend to be some
unbias, middle of the road walking peace guru with a book to sell.

That’s the crux of the problem, as I see it, with Comey. He’s not
without liberal bias but tries saying he is. While going on a book tour
in hopes of building a cushy little nest egg. Which, again, is his
right. Fine. Just be honest about it.

“Hi, I’m James Comey. I’m a liberal. Buy my book and f*ck Trump.
#MeToo, #TimesUp, #Resistance, yakity schmackity let’s watch This is
Us.”

It’s all I ask.
